Our story
SalesByte is the technology company that originates from the innovative world of Chalmers. Behind the company are the founders Johan and Oliver who, together with the team, work every day to make our customers' personal customer contacts more lucrative.
A seed was sown
We go back to 2018 when co-founder Johan was going to buy an air source heat pump for his home. As with many private purchases, this was something that you as a consumer do not know much about and therefore take advice. After contacting e-retailers and physical retailers, he finally ordered a heat pump. However, he found the whole process lacking as almost all companies were bad at giving him information in a good way, did not follow up or even give him a direct purchase channel. That's where the idea for SalesByte was born!
Chalmers as a partner
With the innovative concept SalesByte, Johan and Oliver won Chalmers' annual pitch competition in 2019 and shortly afterwards Chalmers also invested in the business. Today, the company is owned by the two founders, Chalmers and business angels with extensive experience in e-commerce. The goal is clear. To create more business for our customers by helping them achieve brilliance in customer service. This without sales training, lots of admin or changing processes.
Innovation that helps
Today, SalesByte is used by large and small players in various product verticals. Everything from gym cards, electricity contracts, furniture and expensive technical products such as heating solutions are sold. Common to all our partner companies is that they believe in simplicity for the customer in the buying process, whether it is selling with home visits or having contact with their potential customers via phone, chat and more.
